Mental Health America's Regional Policy Council is hosting a webinar entitled, Advocacy and Policy Best Practices and Programs for School Age Youth, on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 3:00 pm Eastern time/ 12:00 noon Pacific time. 

As rising rates of school-age youth identify as having signs of an emotional disturbance and thoughts of self injury, Mental Health America affiliates are informing policy and implementing programs to improve student resilience and overall school climate that educate students and teachers about prevention and early intervention of mental health and substance use disorders. Featured speakers are Sarah Davidon, Research Director and author of Mental Health Colorado's School Mental Health Toolkit, and Ben Harrington, Executive Director of Mental Health Association of East Tennessee and MHA RPC Representative.
