Get Educated, Get Enrolled: Medicare Rx Benefit Campaign

This website contains many of the tools you need including:

On January 1, 2006, Medicare started a new program to help pay for prescription drugs for people who receive Medicare benefits. This new program, also called Medicare Rx, Part D, or the prescription drug benefit, marks a major change in how many people with mental health needs will pay for their prescription drugs. The rules for this new program are complex, and it is very important to learn about and get ready for this new program.Medicare

Through the Mental Health America’s Get Educated, Get Enrolled Medicare Rx Campaign, you can learn about this new benefit, and how it can help you, your friends, or your family pay for some or all of your prescription drug costs. Advocates, consumer leaders, public policy leaders and healthcare providers can gain important resources, current updates on policy changes, and the tools to educate and enroll others into the program.
