Pender McElroy is an attorney practicing corporate and commercial law in Charlotte, NC, and he is a mental health advocate. Mr. McElroy was a member of the Mental Health America Board 1998-2004 serving as Chair of the Affiliate Relations Committee and Secretary/Treasurer. Mr. McElroy rejoined the Mental Health America Board in 2006, served as Secretary/Treasurer and now serves as Board Chair.

In 2004 Mr. McElroy was the recipient of the Sandy Brandt Award from Mental Health America as Volunteer of the Year.  Read more.
