Faye A. Gary, EdD, RN, FAAN is the Medical Mutual of Ohio Professor of Nursing for Vulnerable and At-Risk Persons at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Gary has been studying and designing culturally relevant interventions for more than three decades and has conducted research in the areas of health disparities and vulnerable populations. She has extensive experience working with youth and families in community settings; people of African descent; and women’s health issues. Dr. Gary has published extensively about violence in intimate relationships, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity in children, and other psychiatric disorders. Her work spans six continents and a variety of academic and practice settings.
