Concepcion has been working as case manager for low income and homeless families. She assist families with serious mental illness to overcome obstacles to self-sufficiency in order to break the cycle of poverty. Concepcion has an extensive background in immigration laws. She is the former Director of the Immigration Program of Progreso Hispano. She is a strong advocate for education, health, housing, and legal services that benefit the community. Concepcion believes every person deserves a second chance and serving members of the community is rewarding and builds cooperation and trust.
